I was going to sell or givaway the Horsman baby doll that I bought because she was wearing Kirsten's nightgown, but I seem to have grown attatched to each other.

On the flipside, I have an old 2ndhand Samantha that was given to me by a hostboard member whom I don't think is here anymore. She was her childhood doll, and she wanted her to go to another AG fan. I've had the doll, dubbed Sammie to distinquish her from my Samantha, for 3 years now, and I feel bad because she doesn't get the same treatment as my own dolls who were all originally mine. Sammie is missing eyelashes and her wig isn't the best which makes her less attractive. I just haven't bonded well with her. Since I already have my own childhood Samantha, Sammie has sort of lost her identity, although she sometimes pretends to be Molly. I never really liked the idea of having 2 Samanthas, unless perhaps to get a dark haired one.

I'm going to send her to the doll hospital to see if they can fix her eyes. If I were to get her whole head replaced, she'd look identical to my Samantha who is an old doll with a recently replaced head that has the lighter colored wig, and that would be a bit silly. (I actually like the Mattel dolls better for the most part- they have prettier coloring.) Having an older doll like Sammie, however,was what gave me the courage to finally replace the head on my Samantha whose wig had become like brillo.

I will not be selling Sammie on ebay. It wouldn't seem right because she was a gift to me, but if fixing her eyes doesn't help, I may considering passing her along to another hostboard member.
